Safescape Foundation is committed to providing transparency and responsibility in managing your contributions. This policy outlines how cancellations are handled and applies to various programs like adoptions, donations, and volunteering.

Adoption Cancellation:

Prior to Approval: You can cancel your adoption application without incurring any fees before receiving approval. Simply inform us in writing (email or physical letter).

After Approval but Before Animal Placement: After receiving approval but before the animal is placed in your care, you can still cancel. While no refund will be issued for adoption fees, all contributions are treated as charitable donations under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. This means you may be eligible to claim tax deductions for them.

After Animal Placement: Once the animal is placed in your care, cancellations are generally not possible due to our commitment to their long-term well-being.

Donation Cancellation:

Recurring Donations: You can cancel your recurring donation at any time by logging into your online account or contacting us. Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Since these contributions serve our charitable cause, they are treated as donations under Section 80G and may be eligible for tax deductions.

One-Time Donations: Once a one-time donation is processed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded. However, as with recurring donations, these contributions qualify as Section 80G donations and can potentially be claimed as tax deductions.

Volunteer Cancellation:

You can withdraw your volunteer application at any time before participating in any activities. No fees will be incurred.

If you already participate in volunteer activities and wish to cancel your involvement, kindly inform us in writing at least two weeks in advance. This allows us to adjust our scheduling and ensure smooth operations.

Please note:

All cancellation requests must be made in writing (email or physical letter) within 30 days of the event triggering the cancellation request.
